Recap: Eastern Christian HomeSchool Trailblazers vs. Greenville Christian Academy Knights
If the Eastern Christian HomeSchool Trailblazers were feeling good off their 71-46 takedown of the Albemarle School Colts last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Eastern Christian HomeSchool took a hard 58-42 fall against Greenville Christian Academy on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Eastern Christian HomeSchool of the 74-54 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.
Greenville Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrew Dove out in front who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aaron Swanner, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Eastern Christian HomeSchool has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for Greenville Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Eastern Christian HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on DASH at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenville Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Ahoskie Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ahoskie Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 638th, while Greenville Christian Academy is ranked 315th).
