Baseball Game Preview: Fike Demons vs. Bunn Wildcats

The Fike Demons will face off against the Bunn Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fike, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Bunn's (thus far) undefeated season.

Last Monday, Fike came up short against North Johnston and fell 6-1.

Fike saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CJ Summerlin, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Bunn and Northern Nash, and Bunn kept the tradition alive. Bunn had just enough and edged out Northern Nash 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted against the Knights since March 2, 2017.

Fike's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bunn, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
