Softball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin lost to El Dorado back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 12-2 to the Aztecs. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Franklin saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for El Dorado, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 22-6 loss against Del Valle on the 6th. As for El Dorado, they have also already played their next game, an 11-0 defeat against Pebble Hills on the 6th.
