Volleyball Game Preview: Cedar Grove Saints vs. Heritage Patriots

Cedar Grove hasn't had much luck against Heritage recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Saints will welcome the Patriots at 5:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Cedar Grove came up short against Morrow and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Heritage entered their tilt with Rockdale County on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Patriots have posted since August 28th.

Heritage had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-13, 15-6.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Cedar Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 9-22.
