Football Game Preview: North Caroline Bulldogs vs. Douglass Eagles + Official Tickets

The North Caroline Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Douglass Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Caroline has given up an average of 37.3 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Caroline came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against Colonel Richardson, falling 56-7.

Special teams was responsible for all of the team's points. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Makye Deshields, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Douglass waltzed into their contest on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Yellowjackets 32-0. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Eagles had established a 20-point advantage.

North Caroline's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Douglass, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
