Donovan Catholic scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 62-37 to the Wall Township Crimson Knights. The Griffins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crimson Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2018.

Donovan Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wall Township, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Donovan Catholic will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Toms River East at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Wall Township, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Manalapan at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Wall Township's defense has only allowed 28.5 points per game this season, so Manalapan's offense will have their work cut out for them.
