Albany had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Milaca on Thursday. The Huskies put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won six in a row.

Albany was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-16.

Brynn Panek paced Albany's offense, picking up ten kills. Panek got some help from Lillian VanHeel and her 27 assists. Panek was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Albany's victory bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Milaca, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Looking ahead, Albany is taking a road trip to take on Sauk Centre at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Milaca, they will welcome Foley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
