Football Recap: Cornerstone Family Takes a Loss

Cornerstone Family was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 26-24 heartbreaker at the hands of Northland Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Saints have suffered since August 30, 2024.

Cornerstone Family's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Northland Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Cornerstone Family will face off against Cornerstone at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northland Christian, they will welcome Paris at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northland Christian will need to watch out since the Coyotes have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
