We've seen highlight reel catches at the high school baseball level, but not many from seventh graders.

Even more impressive, Easton Hood of Tupelo Christian Academy (Miss.) performed a heroic stunt on the grand stage.

Ethel had runners on first and second with no outs in the tight and crucial sixth inning of the Mississippi Class A state title game. But Hood saved the day with an incredible diving catch on a bunt, then smartly flipped a throw to second. The second baseman stepped on the bag and rifled over to first for the force out to complete the otherworldly triple play.

Tupelo Christian infielders beat their chests with swagger while skipping to their impassioned teammates in the dugout.

The fancy play ignited the Eagles to a 5-4 walk-off win and a coveted state championship.
