Volleyball Recap: Rocky Grove Beats West Middlesex for Their Third Straight Win

Rocky Grove had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the West Middlesex Big Reds 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Orioles: when they faced off against the Big Reds back in September, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Rocky Grove not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept West Middlesex between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.

Olivia Faust paced Rocky Grove's offense, picking up 14 kills. Faust got some help from Jillian Cratty and her 29 assists. Faust was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Rocky Grove's record now sits at 13-5. As for West Middlesex, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Rocky Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Middlesex has already played their next matchup (against Mercyhurst Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
