Basketball Recap: Crosspoint Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 61 points the game before, Crosspoint Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 55-20 loss at the hands of the Westwood Baptist Academy Eagles. Crosspoint Christian has struggled against Westwood Baptist Academy recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Crosspoint Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gus Bradley posted four points and five rebounds. Bradley has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westwood Baptist Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Robbie Dodd, who went 9-for-13 to rack up 20 points along with five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Anden Moore, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards.

Crosspoint Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Westwood Baptist Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Crosspoint Christian will head out on the road to take on Rolla HomeSchool at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westwood Baptist Academy, they will host Eagle Ridge Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
