Volleyball Recap: TEACH Homeschool's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to 23

TEACH Homeschool came tearing into Monday's contest with 22 straight wins dating back to last season, and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Catholic Crusaders 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Beach Breakers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

TEACH Homeschool was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-10, 25-18.

TEACH Homeschool can attribute much of their success to Carter Flora, who had eight assists and six digs. Those six digs gave Flora a new career-high.

TEACH Homeschool's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, TEACH Homeschool will venture away from home to challenge Norfolk Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Catholic will be paying especially close attention to the Beach Breakers' match: after the Beach Breakers face off against the Ambassadors, they'll take on Catholic again at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
