Yogi Purdy and Brody Barnes were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Purdy struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Barnes pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025.
