Soccer Recap: Pace Academy Has No Trouble Against Northwest Whitfield

Pace Academy's and Northwest Whitfield's contest on Thursday was close at halftime, but Pace Academy turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. The Pace Academy Knights blew past the Northwest Whitfield Bruins 3-0. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Bruins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2022.

Abigail Young and Alexa Ibarra scored all three of Pace Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The victory got Pace Academy back to even at 1-1.

Pace Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Holy Innocents Episcopal on the 18th. As for Northwest Whitfield, they have also already played their next match, a 5-1 defeat against Allatoona on the 18th.
