Basketball Game Preview: Kenwood Bluebirds vs. Northeast Eagles + How To Watch

The Kenwood Bluebirds will venture away from home to challenge the Northeast Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Kenwood had just enough and edged out Dundalk 46-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bluebirds have posted against the Owls since January 13, 2020.

Kenwood's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Tyre Robinson-Chase, who posted eight points in addition to 12 rebounds and three blocks, and Antonio Davis, who scored ten points and five steals. What's more, Davis posted four assists, the most he's had since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Maurice Evans, who had six points along with eight steals and seven boards.

Kenwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. They pulled down 12 more offensive rebounds than Dundalk's also-impressive total of 12.

Meanwhile, Northeast blew past Eastern Tech, posting a 75-45 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Mavericks: they've now won five in a row.
