Baseball Recap: Rock Island Takes a Loss

Rock Island suffered their biggest loss since March 30, 2024 on Monday. They lost 7-1 to the Moline Maroons. If the Rocks were looking for revenge after losing 6-2 to the Maroons when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rock Island now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Moline, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-8.

While Rock Island had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
