It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fairhaven had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the East Bridgewater Vikings 44-8. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Fairhaven found their leader in sophomore Kingston St.Pierre, who rushed for 77 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries.

Fairhaven was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Bridgewater only rushed for 26.

Fairhaven's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.8 points on average over those games. As for East Bridgewater, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

Fairhaven and East Bridgewater are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Blue Devils will challenge Stoneham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 13.4 points per game this season, so Fairhaven's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for East Bridgewater, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Bridgewater at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
