Lynnfield waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Friday.

While Lynnfield won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-12, 25-23.

Lynnfield was led to victory by Elliana Moretti and Carina DeLeo. Moretti had 16 digs and four aces, while DeLeo had 18 assists and eight digs. Moretti is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Lynnfield was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive matches.

Lynnfield's record is now 15-2. As for Hamilton-Wenham Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Lynnfield has already played their next matchup (against North Reading), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hamilton-Wenham Regional, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lynn Classical on the 17th.
