Volleyball Recap: Pinecrest Takes a Loss

Pinecrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coastal Christian Centurions.

Pinecrest's offense was headlined by Carly Stayskal and Emily Regtuyt, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Lawson Barrett and her six assists. Stayskal was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Pinecrest now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Coastal Christian, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Pinecrest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Hoggard on the 13th. As for Coastal Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Wake Christian Academy on the 13th.
