King's Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isiah McCoy out in front who dropped a double-double with ten points and 14 boards. The dominant performance also gave McCoy a new career-high in assists (two). Another player making a difference was Honour Mays, who posted 21 points.

Olympic Heights lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mike Jennigs Jr., who shot 46% from the field on his way to 15 points. Harrison Cohen was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

King's Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Olympic Heights, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King's Academy will venture away from home to challenge Benjamin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olympic Heights, they will head out to take on Santaluces at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will be up against the Chiefs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.57 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
