Soccer Recap: St. Paul's Takes a Loss

St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Phillips Academy Big Blue. That's two games in a row now that St. Paul's have lost by exactly three goals.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Phillips Academy, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 2-7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul's will challenge Holderness at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Holderness' last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Phillips Academy, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against High Mowing at 3:45 p.m.
