Basketball Recap: Hillsdale Takes a Loss

Hillsdale saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bear River Bruins by a score of 59-57.

It was another big night for Dylan Donley, who posted 24 points for Bear River. The game was Donley's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Jeffers, who put up six points along with 13 boards and three blocks.

Hillsdale's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Bear River, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.

Hillsdale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-41 defeat against San Mateo on the 30th. As for Bear River, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Marysville at 7:30 p.m. on January 8th. One thing working in Bear River's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.
