Basketball Recap: Mill River Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Mill River had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 40-30 to the Poultney Blue Devils on Saturday. The Minutemen have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Mill River will challenge West Rutland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Poultney, they will take on Proctor in a tournament on Friday.
