Baseball Recap: Creek Wood Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Creek Wood had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Waverly Central on Friday. The Creek Wood Red Hawks never let the Waverly Central Tigers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Red Hawks haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Brody Butts tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Boone Harris, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two doubles. Those doubles were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ej Larkin, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
