Football Game Preview: Raleigh Lions vs. Seminary Bulldogs + Official Tickets

Raleigh has won ten straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Seminary has won ten straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Lions will challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Raleigh knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Seminary likes a good challenge.

Raleigh is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past Union with points to spare, taking the game 35-21. The Lions pushed the score to 35-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Yellowjackets cut but never quite recovered from.

Jamarcus Mccullum was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 76 yards and two scores, and also threw for 115 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in September of 2024. Deuce Carter was another key player, picking up 44 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Raleigh didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Union to a completion percentage of just 42.1%. The Lions weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 77.8%.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Seminary walked away with a 15-3 victory over Franklin County.

Raleigh's record is now 12-1. As for Seminary, their record now sits at 8-5-1.

Raleigh didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Seminary in their previous matchup back in October, but they still walked away with a 27-21 win. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
