Baseball Recap: West Fork Comes Up Short

West Fork couldn't beat Berryville on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Tigers fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 9-8. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carson Jones made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That stolen base was his first of the season.

West Fork's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Berryville, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Fork will host Ozark Catholic Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Berryville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Yellville-Summit at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
