The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Leading Redlands East Valley to victory were Nathen Lopez and Isaac Vitela. Lopez gained 283 total yards and two touchdowns, while Vitela rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. Lopez's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.
