Volleyball Recap: South Paulding Takes a Loss

South Paulding lost against Allatoona back in September of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buccaneers. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Heidi Tate paced South Paulding's offense, picking up three kills. Tate got some help from Rhamaya Ramos and her three assists.

Allatoona can attribute much of their success to Chloe Fuchs, who had eight digs and three aces. That's the most digs Fuchs has posted since back in August.

South Paulding now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Allatoona, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 22 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season.

South Paulding wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Athens Academy on the 20th. As for Allatoona, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Morgan County on the 20th.
