Preview: Pinkston Vikings vs. Lincoln Tigers
The Pinkston Vikings will head out on the road to challenge the Lincoln Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
On Friday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Pinkston had to settle for a 52-49 loss against Roosevelt.
Pinkston's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Stacy Johnson, who scored 15 points, and Rashad Simpson who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Lincoln earned a 57-47 victory over North Dallas on Friday. The win was just what Lincoln needed coming off of a 66-36 loss in their prior contest.
Pinkston's defeat dropped their record down to 17-16. As for Lincoln, the win got them back to even at 15-15.
Pinkston and Lincoln were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January, but Pinkston came up empty-handed after a 58-57 loss. Can Pinkston avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
