Basketball Game Preview: Texline Tornadoes vs. Silverton Owls

The Texline Tornadoes will challenge the Silverton Owls at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Texline is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

Last Tuesday, Texline didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Gruver, but they still walked away with a 31-25 victory.

Meanwhile, Silverton had to suffer through a 74-29 loss at the hands of Happy. The Owls haven't had much luck with the Cowboys recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Texline is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 21 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.6 points per game. As for Silverton, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.
