Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pinnacle walked away with it. They blew past the Westwood Warriors 3-0 on Tuesday. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Pinnacle didn't let Westwood take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 25-23.

Pinnacle's offense was headlined by Kate Hayes and Emma Minor, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Emma Elbert and her 21 assists.

Pinnacle's win bumped their record up to 19-13. As for Westwood, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 22-18.

Looking ahead, Pinnacle will take on Sunnyslope at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
