Soccer Game Preview: Collinsville vs. Triad

The Collinsville Kahoks will face off against the Triad Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Collinsville's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Collinsville's offense. They fell just short of Belleville East by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Triad had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Considering Triad have won 11 matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Collinsville's loss dropped their record down to 12-8-1. As for Triad, their win bumped their record up to 13-3-2.
