Football Game Preview: Cigarroa Toros vs. Southwest Dragons + Official Tickets

Cigarroa hasn't had much luck against Southwest recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Toros will face off against the Dragons at 7:30 p.m. Cigarroa has given up an average of 37.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cigarroa lost 34-13 to Martin on Thursday.

The losing side was boosted by Armando Mata, who threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 82 yards.

Meanwhile, Southwest played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 35-7 loss at the hands of Jay. The Dragons were down 21-0 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Cigarroa, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Cigarroa might still be hurting after the 30-7 defeat they got from Southwest in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Toros avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
