Basketball Recap: Union City Comes Up Short

Union City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 55-39 bruising from the Asher Indians. The Tigers lost against the Indians in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 68-25 score last time.

Union City's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Asher, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Union City will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lookeba-Sickles at 8:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Asher, they will challenge Carney at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
