Recap: Desert Christian Eagles vs. Sequoia Pathway Academy Pumas
The Desert Christian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Sequoia Pathway Academy at home to the tune of 56-8. That 48 points margin sets a new team best for Desert Christian this season.
It was another big night for Anika Mulkey, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Addison Jones, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Desert Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Sequoia Pathway Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert Christian will play host again and welcome The Gregory School, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sequoia Pathway Academy, they will be playing at home against St. Augustine Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
