Volleyball Recap: Chestnut Ridge Lions vs. McConnellsburg Spartans
Chestnut Ridge and McConnellsburg squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Chestnut Ridge had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Spartans. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2017.
The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 17-25, 25-16, 25-22.
Leah Vent paced Chestnut Ridge's offense, picking up nine kills. Vent got some help from Emma Callihan and her ten assists. Khloe Ickes and Mayci Burkett kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.
