Volleyball Recap: Sandy Creek Takes a Loss

Sandy Creek lost against Sutton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Emma Fisher paced Sandy Creek's offense, picking up ten kills. Fisher got some help from Katelyn Pohlmeier and her 20 assists.

Sandy Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Sutton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-11.

Sandy Creek has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Doniphan-Trumbull on the 20th. As for Sutton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Nebraska Christian on the 21st.
