Soccer Game Preview: Walter Johnson vs. Northwest + How To Watch

The Walter Johnson Wildcats will face off against the Northwest Jaguars at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Walter Johnson's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Northwest's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Walter Johnson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Richard Montgomery on Thursday. They fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest). They never let Springbrook get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what Northwest needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Walter Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 4-2-2. As for Northwest, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Walter Johnson skirted past Northwest 2-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
