Volleyball Recap: Madison Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Madison had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Tri-Valley Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Madison had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-22.

Mara Klingbile was the offensive standout of the match as she had 12 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October.

The victory made it two in a row for Madison and bumps their season record up to 19-12. As for Tri-Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

Madison has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Dell Rapids on the 6th. Tri-Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
