Softball Recap: Peoria Triumphs

Peoria's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Washington Rams. The Panthers' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Anieah Lewis was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Tyler Nevarez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Peoria kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2025.

Peoria's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Washington, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Peoria wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-3 defeat against Paradise Honors on the 9th. As for Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-5 victory against Moon Valley on the 9th.
