Football Recap: Lewis County Panthers vs. Loretto Mustangs

After flying high against Hickman County last Friday, Lewis County came back down to earth. The Lewis County Panthers received a blow on Friday as they fell 61-44 to the Loretto Mustangs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (32), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

Lewis County's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Kobe Feichtinger and Bentley Kelsey. Kelsey also set a new season high mark in receiving yards with 84.

Lewis County will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Loretto, they will welcome Hickman County on Friday. Loretto is facing Hickman County at the right time seeing as Hickman County is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
