Volleyball Recap: Valley View Takes a Loss

Valley View managed to slip by Perris the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Panthers on Friday. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row dating back to last season.

Valley View was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-19.

Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Perris, they moved to 6-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, Valley View will face off against Moreno Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Perris, they will take on Rancho Verde at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
