Basketball Recap: Harmony Science Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Harmony Science Academy came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 43-37 win over the Meridian Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 39-26 back in December of 2024.

Harmony Science Academy was led to victory by Jana Nour and Sarah Koughloughli. Nour posted 12 points, while Koughloughli had 12 points. The dominant performance gave Koughloughli a new career-high in points.

Harmony Science Academy pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.8 points per game. As for Meridian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Harmony Science Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Meridian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Providence Prep at 7:15 p.m. on January 24th.
