Steinbrenner is a perfect 5-0 against Sickles since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will head out to face off against the Gryphons at 7:00 p.m. Steinbrenner is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Steinbrenner's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Blake 31-0. The final result isn't all the surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 350th).

Steinbrenner found their leader in freshman Megan Medina, who threw for 117 yards and four TDs.

Steinbrenner didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Sarah Coble led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Despite a strong season so far, Sickles has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 20-14 heartbreaker at the hands of Brandon.

Steinbrenner's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.2 points on average over those games. As for Sickles, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.

Steinbrenner took their win against Sickles when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 26-0 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Gryphons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
