Volleyball Recap: Minneota Takes a Loss

Minneota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the New Prague Trojans. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Minneota's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for New Prague, their win bumped their record up to 9-11-1.

Minneota has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Eden Prairie on the 11th. As for New Prague, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Jackson County Central on the 11th.
