Softball Recap: Banks County Takes a Loss

Banks County and Dade County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Banks County had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Leopards' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Banks County's defeat dropped their record down to 28-6. As for Dade County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-6 record this season.

Banks County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dade County, they have already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against Gordon Lee on the 31st.
