Softball Recap: South Hills Huskies vs. Hamilton Huskies

Fans were treated to a battle of the Huskies on Saturday. South Hills came out on top against Hamilton by a score of 9-5.

Jayden Garcia and Brianna Sanchez did most of the damage at the plate: Garcia scored three runs while going 3-for-3, while Sanchez scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Garcia has posted over her last 13 contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikayla Sta. Ana, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

South Hills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hamilton only posted a batting average of .280.

South Hills has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.
