St. Augustine entered their tilt with Destrehan on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 56-41 win over the Destrehan Wildcats. Given the Purple Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Wildcats are ranked 126th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Augustine is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Destrehan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
