Volleyball Recap: Portsmouth West Senators vs. Valley Indians

Portsmouth West lost against Valley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Senators lost 3-0 to the Indians.

While Portsmouth West was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 25-20.

Macey Whisman paced Portsmouth West's offense, picking up 13 kills. Whisman got some help from Brayleigh Pistole and her 19 assists.

Leading Valley to victory were Laylee McGraw and Kendyl Christman. McGraw had 15 digs, while Christman had ten kills and five digs. Christman has been hot recently, having posted five or more kills the last three times she's played.

Portsmouth West's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-12. As for Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4.
