Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hanson walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 52-34 win over the Viborg/Hurley Cougars on Thursday. The Beavers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Hanson now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Viborg/Hurley, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.

Looking ahead, Hanson will square off against Elkton/Lake Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Elks will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Beavers surely won't give up without a fight. Viborg/Hurley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
